A look back at the month of June

=)Here's what we've been up to:

Making messes.

Addi completed her 4th year of swimming lessons and Hally completed her 3rd year.

My flower garden is looking so pretty. All of my perennials are coming in fuller and fuller every year. I love having a flower garden:)

We've been married almost 8 years and we've NEVER had a grill! *gasp* I gave Tim a grill for his birthday and he loves it!

A day at the Zoo

Our summer started off with a fun day at the Hogle Zoo. Although I have to admit, I'm kind of disappointed with the animal selection lately. There are no bears, polar bears, lions, zebras or hippos. I also feel like some of the animals' living quarters are less than appealing. Cement cages just don't seem natural. I guess I shouldn't be so hard on our little zoo. I can tell they're trying to makes some improvements and it does take lots of money to do so. Hey, as long as the kids have fun then that's all that matters, right?

Addi's Kindergarten Graduation

Addi will soon be in 1st grade. That means school all day long and eating lunch in the cafeteria. Addi absolutely LOVED kindergarten! She was a "model student," as her teacher would say. She LOVED her teacher, Mrs. Lebaron and will miss her so much. We are so proud of Addi, she worked hard in school and was always so nice to everyone. She was given an award for the "most kind kindergartner."

A cute thing Addi said the other day: She was explaining to her friend, Suzie how to play "Angry Birds" and this is what she said, "You put birds in a sling shot and try to hit the pigs and then the pigs (a thoughtful pause), pass away." She's such a sweetie and we love her so much!

Hally's Preschool Graduation

Hally graduated from preschool in May. I can't believe our Hally Bear will soon be in kindergarten. She's growing up way too fast! She'll be one of the youngest in her class and I'm sure she'll also be one of the smallest. We love her so much and are so proud of her!

Hally is our sweetie pie!

Hally's gown was huge on her. She had to hold it up as she walked down to get her diploma. During the program all of the kids stated what they want to be when they grow up. Hally said, "I want to be a doctor so I can fix people."

I love Easter! It's fun being a mom, getting to play the Easter Bunny and seeing the happiness on my kids faces!
