CRAZY LIFE

I am sorry about the limited posting lately. I started a new job which allows me to work from my home, but still keeps me busy, thus leaving me less time to blog. I am doing medical surveys and it's great. I just call from my house while my kids are napping. Thanks for letting me know about this awesome stay at home job, Shari! You're the best. The plan was to start this job and stop doing daycare. Well, that didn't work as well as I had planned. Instead of narrowing my daycare down, I just ended up with more kids! It's just too hard to say "goodbye" to these kids that I have been watching forever. On top of that, I started Addi in a rotating pre-school which means that I will have to teach every six weeks. Then I thought she needed to be in a dance class too, plus I am trying to put together a "Bunko" group and a whole slew of other things are going on that I don't even want to get into right now!!! Today at church I couldn't focus while playing the organ. I was right in the middle of playing a song that had two flats when all of the sudden my mind changed on me and I started playing the song with two sharps instead. I couldn't believe it! It was horribly embarrassing! I am going crazy I tell you! My biggest problem is figuring out how to get Addi to all of these places while watching so many kids. I guess I'll have to walk because my car only has room for 2 1/2 kids in the backseat. It's going to be interesting trying to walk to preschool and dance with six kids. Tim was gone on a hunting trip this whole weekend and guess what I did..... absolutely nothing! I just sat on the couch and watched chick flicks all weekend while my house went to pot. I think I needed it, just a little calm before the storm if you know what I mean. ;) Oh well, I bit off more than I can chew and now I will just have to deal with it.

5 YEARS

Saturday, August 23rd was our 5 year anniversary. I can't believe we've been married for 5 years! We went to the cutest bed & breakfast called Johnson Mill in Midway, Utah. I was completely impressed with this quaint little place. They have many amenities that large hotels don't have, for example: they had fresh baked cookies just sitting on a plate in the foyer for everyone to enjoy, free movies, popcorn, hot chocolate, etc. Our room was beautiful and plenty spacious for being the cheapest room they offered. After we checked in, we went out to eat at a restaurant in Midway called Mountain House Grill which was delicious. Then when we got back to our room, the bed was covered in rose petals and on the table there was chocolate dipped strawberries and sparkling apple cider. So romantic! In the morning they fed us a delicious huge breakfast and then we went for a ride in the canoe on their 3 acre pond. Check out was at 11 AM and then we headed to see a movie, "The Dark Night" which was amazing!

I am so lucky to be married to the love of my life. He's the sweetest husband and dad! He loves me and the kids more than anything. I love you so much Tim. Happy Anniversary!

OUR NEW HOUSE!

He he, just kidding! ;) We drove up to see the new Draper Temple, which is still being built, and holy cow you should see the houses surrounding it! It's hard not to have worldly thoughts while being by that temple when it's surrounded by massive mansions! Then again, it seems that most temples are generally in pretty nice neighborhoods.

"MUST-HAVE" MONDAY

Sorry all of you PC users, I have to boast about my Mac. Tim gave me this lovely machine for Christmas. I had only ever used a PC before and it took me awhile to get used to it. Well, I have to say that I will never go back to a PC after experiencing the brilliance of my Mac:-) Isn't it cunning? There's no tower! It's all wrapped up into one piece of heavenly bliss! I tell ya, if your computer is about to die, look into getting a Mac and experience the joy for yourself.

BEES AND PENNIES

Awhile ago my sister posted about how pennies help bee stings. I thought, "What in the world, I've never heard of such a thing?" I had always just used baking soda mixed with a little water, isn't that what everyone else uses? The other day I was outside sitting on a bench while my kids were playing when I felt something very sharp and painful on the back of my arm. Sure enough, there was a bee stinging me! I just sat there, not saying a thing, just looking at my arm. Then I remembered the pennies that my sister had talked about. I ran inside and grabbed a penny and taped it to my arm where the bee stung me. About two hours later I took the penny off and there was no trace of anything ever stinging me! It really does work! Who knew that pennies could actually help with bee stings? Craziness I tell you, craziness!

DID YA LOVE IT?

I know, I know, everyone is posting about Breaking Dawn, but I have to post about it too because it's part of my life just like everyone else! :) I have heard different reviews, and I am not going to give anything away, but I really enjoyed it completely.... from beginning to end. I am just sad that this is supposedly the final book in the series. :( Now what am I going to read? I guess I will just have to go back to being a non-reader. When the movie comes out I am going to be one of those people that says, "It wasn't nearly as good as the book." I have never been on that side of things before. I always watch the movies and never read the books, therefore not having that problem. I guess I don't want my little world of Bella and Edward, that I have been living in for the last year of reading the books, to end. I am in mourning. Am I the only one? Is there anyone else?

FLIPPING OUT

This show is hilarious! It's called "Flipping Out" and you can find it on the Bravo channel. They just finished with season two and I am a big fan. It's about an extremely obsessive compulsive guy named Jeff Lewis. He flips million dollar homes for a living and is very successful at it. Everyone needs to DVR this show. I can't even describe how crazy this guy is, it makes me laugh through the whole show. You will just have to watch it for yourself and find out.

Is there anyone who doesn't love this store? I have to have my target! I love everything they have, from their clothes (mine and kids), shoes, accessories, home decor....... I love everything about it!
