Christmas Dresses

Sweet Sisters...

Hally's Christmas Program

Hally had a Christmas program for preschool. She did such a good job. She memorized two different parts. "Spell out one special word," and "Before we sing, we want to thank you for coming." She has the sweetest little voice. Miss Krissi is such a great preschool teacher! After the program, Santa Claus came! :) Now this particular Santa looked like he had been on Weight Watchers or something and his beard seemed to keep falling down. When the kids sat on his lap, he didn't even ask them what they wanted, if they had been good, or ho ho ho. NOTHING! Kind of funny! He just said, "You can have a candy cane for Christmas," and handed them one. I think he was nervous. It's okay though, my kids still haven't started to question if Santa is real or not. If you notice Addi's face in the picture below, she did NOT want to sit on Santa's lap, because she thought she had been too bad and didn't want to face him. We finally talked her into it. Why is it that kids seem to get naughtier around Christmastime. You think the constant threatening of a lump of coal and being put on Santa's naughty list would make them be good, but no, it doesn't work. I thought for sure Kendall would cry when we put her on his lap, but she just stared at him curiously. Someday we'll make it to the cool Santa at the mall. :)

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas

I LOVE Christmas time AND I LOVE to decorate for Christmas. My husband on the other hand is somewhat of a Scrooge, but I "Deck the Halls" anyways! :) I thought I would share some of my favorite decorations with you to spread the joy of Christmas and if you're reading this, then I think you should do the same on your blog! ;) There are LOTS of pictures and I didn't even post half of the ones I took! :) Every year we like to collect some sort of Santa Clause. I put the year on the bottom so each year when we get them out, we reminisce of Christmases passed. I am thankful to celebrate the birth of my Savior. I hope that my family, along with your family, will try to slow things down this busy holiday season and take the time to really enjoy the true meaning of Christmas!

Thanksgiving Time

Tiff and her family were in town for a wedding so we got together a few days before Thanksgiving to hang out. It was so good to see them! The kids had lots of fun playing together as always. Too bad it was such a short trip, but we'll take what we can get! :)

Kendall & Charlotte played so cute together. They're exactly one month apart.

Addi made this cute pilgrim bonnet at school and each of the girls had fun trying it on.

AWWWWW. What cute lil pilgrims I have! Happy Thanksgiving everyone! :)

Grandma Scott

We went to visit my Grandma Scott a little over a week ago. She had hip surgery a couple weeks earlier and now she is in a rehabilitation facility to help with regaining her strength and walking. The girls LOVE Grandma Scott. She's such a sweetheart! She's kind, generous and very intelligent. We love you so much grandma and hope you get feeling better soon!!!

Gina's Baby Shower

My friend Becca and I had a baby shower for our friend Gina. She's having her first GIRL, so of course we had to throw her a shower! The colors were pink and brown and I thought it turned out so cute, I had to post a picture. We had pink and brown candies, Subway sandwiches, fruit, lemonade and of course the pregnant belly fondant cake that Becca made! So CUTE! We had a good turn out and Gina got lots of adorable girly things!

Kendall's 1st Birthday

I can't believe our baby girl Kendall is 1!!! I wish I could slow down how fast our kids are growing up just a little bit, because I know that before I know it, our kids will be going off to college and such. Kendall is such a joy in our lives. She is a sweetie pie. We love her sooooo MUCH!! Happy Birthday Kendall!!!!

There are LOTS of pictures below!! We had Grandma (Juju) and Grandpa Allan join us along with Darlene. We started by having a nacho bar dinner, next we opened presents and last we had cake. It was a very enjoyable evening!!

Minnie Mouse Cake.

Grandma Juju (Julie).

Grandpa

Every time I would say, "Kendall smile!" She would look up at the camera and give me a huge smile.

Grandma Juju and Aunt Darlene in the background.

This picture she was sad cause we took her away from her new toys. Still very cute even when she's sad.

She went to town with her cake. After one taste she just started grabbing at it with both hands. So cute to watch!
