Tim's 35th Birthday (he's old)

Happy 35th B-day to my sweetie pie! He's seriously the best dad ever! Really, I promise!

Here we are having a "man's meal" for his birthday dinner! Steak, corn on the cob, hot dogs, pasta salad, grilled squash, potato chips! YUM! 

Pretty disappointed when she learned the cake wasn't for her. 

Well at least she gets to help blow out the candles!

Happy Super Bowl!

Tim and the girls got to go watch the Super Bowl at the movie theatre, thanks to our friends the Merkleys. I had to go to bed, because I got to work that night. Bummer.

Kind of disappointed the Packer's didn't make it to the SB this year, oh well they at least had a heck of a season. Better luck next year!

and the PACKERS WIN the XLV SUPER BOWL!!

Just have to give a shout out to the PACKERS!!! They won the SUPER BOWL! My husband is soooo stinkin' excited!! Go Packers! :)

Here's Tim headed to the super bowl party in his Packers attire. One of our friends' parents owns the Payson movie theater, so they invited us to come and watch the big game on the big screen. It was lots of fun and the kids and fun too! So excited the Packers won!

Being Silly

When Tim puts the kids to bed he just LOVES to get them all riled up! Here are some funny pictures of the fun the kids always have with their dad. Kendall even gets in on the silliness. Life just wouldn't be the same without Tim. He is so goofy/silly/fun, things never get old!

Tim loves to play softball. He's been playing on city leagues since long before we got married. I've been watching him play since before we had kids. Now the kids enjoy coming with me to watch/climb on the bleachers and run around the ball park. Right now he's on a team called the Blue Ninjas. He designed the t-shirts. Look how cute he is doing what he loves!

Isn't Tim so cute in this picture? :) I think so anyway! :) I know that he hates anything that highlights him, but I just had to write this post to tell him how much I just love him. He is such a hard worker and even though he's at a job that he doesn't necessarily like, he goes everyday just to support his family. He is the best dad that you will ever meet. He absolutely ADORES his little girls. He is so silly with them and they love it. He likes to make sure they have fun. Hally asks me every night while Tim is at work, "Where's daddy? I miss him." He checks on them in their beds to make sure they're okay when he gets home in the wee hours of the morning. People are literally drawn to him because he is so nice and has such a likable personality. He thinks he's shy, but he's really not. He will just go up and start talking to a  complete stranger. Thank you so much honey for being such a great husband and dad. Your girls love you more than you can imagine!! XOXOXO!!

❤ TIM'S BIRTHDAY & ADDI'S DANCE RECITAL ❤

Happy Birthday Tim! Tim's birthday was on Saturday, June 13th. I can't believe he's 32! He still looks pretty young. Thank you for all that you do for your girls! You work so hard for us! We love you so much! XOXOXOXO!

Addi had her dance recital the same day as Tim's birthday. She was a wicked witch of the west from The Wizard of Oz. She was really excited to wear "mom makeup" meaning mascara and eyeliner. Doesn't she look so dang cute?!

I was a little nervous, because at the dress rehearsal earlier in the day, she came out on stage and just chewed on her broom the whole time. LOL! She definitely had a bout of stage fright. It's understandable, I mean it was her VERY first time on stage. After reminding her throughout the remainder of the day to NOT chew on her broom, it paid off because she did such a good job in her performance. We got it all on video so she'll always be able to see her first dance recital. Good job Addi!

❤ AN UPDATE ❤

I just wanted to catch everyone up on everything that's been going on.

~After being out of work for 1 month and applying to dozens and dozens of places, Tim got a job. Yay!  He is working at Nicholas' Foods in Salt Lake. I guess Nicholas delivers food to several restaurants, prisons, schools, etc. He will be working in the gigantic warehouse as an order picker. He works four days a week from 5 pm until whenever they get done which is usually around 2 or 3 am. The night shifts will take some getting used to and we both don't really like that shift, but we are just grateful for a job. You get paid more depending on how fast you go, which is good once he gets the hang of it, because he'll have the potential to make some good money. It's always hard to start a new job. You don't know what you're doing, you don't know anyone you're working with... but I think that comes with any new job. I am sure with Tim's likability factor, he'll feel right at home in no time.

~I went to the doctor for the first time about 3 weeks ago and everything looks great! It's always reassuring to hear the heartbeat for the first time. We get to find out what we're having in 7 more weeks, which seems like a really long time. I have been really, really sick with this pregnancy. I feel great in the mornings, but by the afternoon and evening I just want to lay down and not move at all. I do feel like I am coming out of it though. Like today for instance. It's already after 7 pm and I haven't felt one bout of nausea all day! Wahoo! I was sick with my other two kids, but not this sick. I always hate to complain because I know that being pregnant is a blessing and there are so many women that can't have babies. So I really am sorry to complain, but I have felt pretty miserable. 

~Well, that's really all of the news that I can think of for right now. I hope everyone else finds themselves well! I will be posting much needed pictures very soon!!

~Oh yes, Congrats to my cousin Erin!!! She is engaged and I am just soooooooooooooooooo-  oooooooo excited!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can hardly wait! I mean people get married all the time, but for some reason with this one I am just overjoyed and beaming with excitement about it!! Love ya Erin! Jenny, you're next! ;)

ECONOMIC CRISIS

1 Year Ago:

I saw it on the news. Huge banks and business were collapsing. The stock market came crashing down. People were losing their homes. The unemployment rate was going up and up. In Utah, the prices of homes leveled off and gradually started to come down.

6 Months Ago:

I felt it trickling in towards me. Many Utah businesses were announcing cut backs. People I knew were worried about their jobs. Everyone started to cut back in their personal lives.

3 Months Ago:

I saw close friends lose their jobs. Tim's company announced some cut backs and mandatory days off each month without pay. We started to feel the effects of the economy. We were in the clear.....

....at least we thought.

2 Days Ago:

Tim got laid off. The economic crisis is definitely effecting us. If anyone knows of a good job with benefits please let me know. Thank you.

Here is a picture story:

On Wednesday Tim did this.

When he was done his pockets looked like this.

These were nowhere to be found.

and this were locked inside the car.

He bummed a ride on this to the nearest gas station.

Where he used this to call me.

I had to borrow this from my sweet neighbor to pick Tim up.

We then went here to see what our options were. They gave us the key code and told us to go:

here. It was closed.

We went home and Tim bummed a ride to work the next morning from another great neighbor.

During this lovely person's (my mom) lunch break she:

then went here to pick Tim up from work:

and then drove Tim here to get our poor stranded car...

...the keys didn't work.

Mom drove Tim back to here.

I called these people and they told me they "accidentally" cut the key wrong. GGGRRRR!!!!

My sweet neighbor let me borrow this.

I picked Tim up from here.

We went back here.

Drove back here.

Prayed the whole way that the keys would work.

With an uneasy stomach, Tim stuck the key in the lock and....

...it worked!!!
