Golfing with Dad

I'm sure I've mentioned several times before that Tim really is the BEST dad EVER! Seriously. He always wants his kids to have fun, even if it means taking the girls with him golfing, which I'm sure affects his game... :)

They sure did have fun with their dad!:)

Another day on the slopes

It's sweet when you get free ski passes at work! Just to Sundance, but still a great resort, especially for someone that's learning. Check out the awesome video of Addi flying down the mountain! It makes me laugh. Tim said he was behind her videotaping her and then she got so far ahead of him he could barely catch up with her.

Addi's 1st Time Skiing

Tim took Addi to Sundance on Saturday for her first experience skiing. He thought it would be pretty easy to teach her himself, but after the first time down the bunny hill and her falling the whole way, he decided to buy her a lesson. Her teachers name was Scotty and after her two hour lesson, she did awesome! She was SO excited to tell me all about it when they got home and she can't wait to go back!

Being Silly

When Tim puts the kids to bed he just LOVES to get them all riled up! Here are some funny pictures of the fun the kids always have with their dad. Kendall even gets in on the silliness. Life just wouldn't be the same without Tim. He is so goofy/silly/fun, things never get old!

Mr. Mom

Tim took work off to be Mr. Mom while I was in Seattle for four days. They sure had fun without me. I had the camera so they didn't get pictures, but here's a list of what they did:
  • Took the kids to and from school
  • Helped Addi with her "Apple Blossom" (highlighted child of the month) at school
  • Found a free bunk bed, in good condition, on the side of the road
  • Visited Temple Square including the Visitor's Center and the Joseph Smith Building
  • Toured the Conference Center
  • Went to War Memorial Park
  • Toured the Capitol Building
  • McDonalds
  • Watched Alvin & The Chipmunks The Squekual
  • Went to a Salvadorian restaurant that was "disgusting"
  • Got ice cream
  • Went Mother's Day shopping for me
  • Went to KFC
  • Watched The Black Stallion
  • Went to the Holy Cow Boutique and got Big Buns cinnamon rolls
  • Babysat his friends little girl
  • Watched the Jazz Game
Thanks sweetie for taking such good care of Addi and Hally when I was away. You're such a fun dad! Our kids love you so much and I love you too!
I just wanted to throw this in. I found it in my suitcase when I got to Seattle. Addi did it all by herself. It says, "I love mom, I hope you have a fun time at Seattle." Spelled mostly phonetically. She's doing so good with her reading and writing, I am so impressed! She just finished her Distar Reading Program and now knows how to read! Great job Addi, we're so proud of your hard work!

THANKSGIVING POINT

Lots of pictures comin' at ya! A few weeks ago we went with some friends to the Children's Discovery Garden at Thanksgiving Point. I can't believe this was our first time going here. It was a lot of fun and we will for sure be going back.

Tim's friend, Benton, is engaged to a girl named Laci and this is her daughter Chevelle. Addi and Hally love to play with Chevelle.

HAPPENINGS

1. Addi got her ears pierced, again. She had it done when she was three and I took them out for a couple days after they had been in for over 6 months and they completely grew in. Bad Mommy! She was so brave and just cried for a minute this time. She even paid for half of it with her own money.

2. Once again pictures showcasing what a good dad Tim is. I think he's so HOT in this picture! He got all the girls' pink Jazz jerseys for Christmas. Last night they were playing the Jazz game at the movie theater at the Jordan Commons so Tim took Addi and Hally. They had a lot of fun watching the cheerleaders and the Jazz BEAR! They got autographs from the Jazz Bear and he even shook Addi's hand. Tim said that Hally just seemed really nervous the whole time. They were in line to get pictures with the Jazz Bear and she just started crying. So no picture with the Jazz Bear.

Carlos Boozer in the background.

3. Cute pictures of Kendall. Okay, I'll kiss ya!! :)

4. Proof that I am doing well on some of my New Year's Resolutions. We have been faithful with FHE. This has been a great way to bring The Spirit into our home. Also a great teaching and learning opportunity !! I have been drinking diet soda when I drink soda, but as for the rest of my resolutions... not so good. I guess accomplishing two of them is better than nothing.

5. We'll just call him Good Dad Tim. Making the kids Mickey Mouse shaped pancakes.

Deer in the headlights. I have to stop taking pictures of her in this chair!!

❤ RODEO, KENNECOTT & PRESCHOOL ❤

The day after Addi's birthday (Saturday), Tim took the girls out for a day of fun while I stayed home to relax all day. They started out at their cousin, Morgan's rodeo. Addi got to ride a horse named Studdly, but Hally refused to even pet the horse. Next they had lunch with Grandma and Grandpa Stubbs before heading over to The Kennecott Copper Mine. It was pretty cold and windy, but also pretty amazing. I have also posted pictures of the kids and their first day of preschool which I know is very late, but I didn't want to forget to document that important phase of their life.
